THERE HAS BEEN AN ACCIDENT

MeeW is very committed. We care about the safety of anyone who uses our services.
In case of accidents, you should always ensure that all involved are doing well.
Then you should contact the police immediately and / or call the emergency center.
We would also like to hear from you if you find it relevant in a given situation.

Trouble with login

Should you receive an error when you try to create an account for the first time, first try deleting your history, cache and re-downloading MeeW.
If you keep having trouble with login, the issue can be resolved by your login method – this could be Facebook, Instagram or other.
We recommend that you have only one user. If the above does not work please contact us at hello@meew.dk

updating account

You can only update your settings and preferences when you’re signed in to the MeeW app.
To ensure best matches, consider which pictures and / or videos you use in your profile, as well as which text you have left.
Also ensure you have filled out your profile – especially your profession, about, skills, languages and experiences.
Please also be ensure your filtering on the “search screen”, to ensure better searching.

 

If you have premium acces, make sure that your location is where you would like it to be before searching.

deactivating account

We’re sorry to see you leave!
Therefore, when you deactivate your MeeW account, MeeW may, for a period of time, be able to reopen your account for security reasons.
You might therefore be able to reopen your account with the same content within a short span of time.
This is in order to – amongst other reasons – and not limited to, avoiding disputes and assuring security.

After this period, your account will be permanently closed.
Note that once you choose to deactivate your account, it will be processed without further confirmation.
We’d like to hear from you, in regards to why you are deactivating your account, so we can help you or create an even better platform.

send offer

QUARANTINE SYSTEM

You can report or get reported from other MeeW users.
You can report or be reported by (but is not limited to):
– Not complying with your assignment.
– Chicane.
– Inappropriate behaviour.
– Spam.
If you are reported in the MeeW app:
1x: You will be warned.
2x: You will be quarantined for 3 days.
3x: You will be removed from the app.

 

Note that MeeW becomes aware, if you report others more than 3x. MeeW reserves the right, as written in our “Terms of Use”, to discontinue reviews or quarantine users without notice.

Theft

If you have been subjected to theft, you should contact the police and your insurance company immediately. In addition, you should contact the person (s) who performed the work / performance. Please note that MeeW is not responsible for things that are forgotten or stolen.

Forgot password

If you have forgotten your password, you should request a new password from Facebook, Instagram or any of the other login-providers of MeeW.
Since MeeW login is based on social media, we unfortunately can’t help you with creation or recalling old passwords. You should instead contact your social media platform.
We encourage the creation of unique passwords for your MeeW account through your Facebook, Instagram or other sign-in method. Be careful with your password.

passporting

Within “edit profile” at the top left corner of your profile, you can enter the “location” section.
From here, you can adjust your passporting location – if you have premium access.

Passporting allows you to reach any place in the world, to find your global network and find whatever skill, competence, personality (etc.) you may need. Go nuts!

swiping

When search returns with matches, you can:

– tap their profile to read more about the individual.
– swipe right to contact
– swipe left to not now
– swipe up to priority (contact)
* When you have “contacted” or “priority swiped” a profile, you have to wait for their consensus (them swiping ‘yes’) to be able to build your network and have that person in your contact list.
Please note that the icons, which turn up after doing a search, can also be pressed to either:
heart = contact
X = not now
star = priority
You also have the ability to press:
– the flash (to buy boost profile)
– press the undo (if you have bought premium)

unmatch and reporting

When unmatching or reporting other users, there will be no other confirmation from MeeW – your request will be dealt with.

Please note that obsessive reporting of other users will notify the MeeW administration, hence we want to ensure that the environment follows our community guideline. Read more about our commnity guidelines here.

You are free to unmatch other users at anytime by pressing the icon at the top right corner, when in chat with that person.

search

When logged in, you are automatically directed to the search screen and you are now ready to find the person you need.
At top of the screen, you can use the search-bar to enter any comptence, talent, skill, personality or keyword. Our fuzzy search allows you to find anyone, who have something similar to your search.
If your search returns with 0 matches, please tap the small “filtering” icon to the right of the search-bar.
Here you can filter anything from distance to hourlywage, interests etc.
Try different combinations untill you find what you are looking for.
If you still encouter 0 matches, there might not be anyone with that partikular skills within the allowed distance. Try premium to be able to passport to another location in search of your competence-match.
